This is the proposal to the final project that I will be working on in Professor Stephens course. I would like for my paper/presentation/ blog to pertain to celebrity gossip websites. I will describe in explicit details and why a celebrity's private life is so fascinating to the average person. I will post about different websites and have archival footage from Youtube. I will probably refine it in the near future and iron out the kinks as I go along in my research. The reason for me choosing this topic is because different news channels like MSNBC,Fox News Channel, and CNN are extensively covering the death of Anna Nicole Smith more than other matters that are going on in the world as we speak.

My name is Cortney and I present to you my first entry for blogger. Over the next few weeks, I might as well say semester because it is for a grade. I will be posting material pretaining to my current course which Intro to New Media Studies that is due at the very end. Please, bare with me as I iron out the kinks to this blog.
